GT Crew Looking Strong through March, Big Races Still to Come

The rowers sure had a busy month of March with training at Spring Break, the John Hunter Regatta, and last weekend's San Diego Crew Classic. John Hunter was an exiting race for the team with the Varsity Men taking gold in every event they were entered in. The Varsity Women took home bronze and silver in the JV4+, and the novice men took bronze in the Novice Men's 8+ (results here). The Varsity Men's 8+ also performed well in California last weekend, making it to the grand final in the American Specialty Health Cal Cup (results here).

The team will travel to its biggest races of the season over the next two months. Here's what's still in store:

• April 13-14 - FIRA Championship Regatta
• April 22-23 - SIRA Chmpionship Regatta
• May 11-12 - Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta
  • We will have an Alumni tent set up at the race site! All GT Alumni are encouraged to attend and cheer on our Yellow Jackets!
• May 26-27 - ACRA Championships
