In one of the best showings for GT Crew in recent years at the Charles, we're very excited to share that both our alumnae and alumni 4+ placed in the top half of their field and re-qualified for next year! Be sure to start training for those 6k's if you're interested in participating in either boat for HOCR 2027. Both boats passed through multiple opposing teams, and despite clashing oars and having to stop to a non-yielding crew, the men's alumni 4+ charged forward to a great result. This was the first time the Catherine Owens was raced at Head of the Charles, and we're so lucky this group of incredibly talented women earned a phenomenal result in that shell!
Due to unfortunate luck with the bid process, the team was only able to send a Men's 4+, but they improved on their result from last year and placed into the top 10 of the Men's Collegiate 4+, which is the first top 10 finish on the men's side since 2019! Be on the lookout as the team throws down at Head of the Hooch this weekend.

Mark your calendars for December 1st, for this year's Giving Tuesday, as we aim to organize alumni across 40 years of crew to help give back to the team.
The funds, equipment, resources, and time given back by our alumni are a critical factor in holding the program to a standard of excellence.
This season, we are aiming to raise $10,000 towards the Crew endowment as we march towards our long-term goals of self-sustainability outlined in our Five-Year Plan. You can read our 1 year update here as well.
