Travels Up North...
One week after Georgia Tech crew had lost almost all boats in a trailer accident, the team traveled to Boston, Massachusetts for The Head of the Charles Regatta. Five total entries were made for this regatta; all three collegiate entries were guaranteed from the results of the previous Head of the Charles regatta. Although the team had to demo boats from both Resolute and Hudson, they brought all other equipment up on the St. Andrew’s trailer. Varsity women raced in a Resolute Four that was located on the University of Rhode Island trailer. Varsity Men raced in a Resolute Eight and a Hudson Four. The team brought back two Resolute Eights and the Hudson Four on the St. Andrew’s trailer and will be using these boats for practice until new boats are purchased. Official results are listed below.
