HAPPY 25th ANNIVERSARY! The board is pleased to formally announce the close of the 25th Anniversary Campaign for the GT Crew Endowment. As part of the campaign, we have all come together to raise just over $11,250 for the team’s endowment. And the campaign did not whimper out in the last 500 meters, we had one big closing donation of $2,500 at the last minute! What a great way to finish the race!

If you have visited the campaign’s site lately, you’ll also notice that the GTCA Board is including our annual donation to the team in the campaign. We will be donating an additional $5,000, bringing our gift to the GT Crew Endowment to an amazing $16,250!

Over the past three years, the friends and family of the GT Crew Team have come together to help contribute close to $50,000 to create an endowment that we all hope one day might provide significant, perpetual support for the team. Let's not stop now.

So what year won the competition and has donated their way into naming a boat?? This honor goes to those that connect most with 1997. Someone from this year will contact each of the donors from this “class," and your boat name will be unveiled at the Homecoming Tailgate.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our campaign. We feel quite successful and cannot wait to pass this legacy on to the next set of board members. And you can help pick those people out right now during our 2011 Elections. Please take a second to go vote for the new board.
