2008 Replace the Trailer

DONATION INFORMATION

If you are interested in donating to the team, please make donation checks payable to "Georgia Tech Foundation" and add "GT Crew" to the memo line. The GT Foundation is a subsidiary of Georgia Tech where the Crew Team keeps its capital accounts. As Tech is a non-profit educational institution, your charitable gift to the GT Foundation is tax deductible. Your gift will also count towards the Capital Campaign.

Unfortunately, we are not able to process credit cards, but the GTCA can ensure you that your gift will go directly to the $15,000 goal and to the replacement of the team's trailer. Please mail your gift check to the GTCA Affinity Group at:

Replace the Trailer Campaign = COMPLETED!

The GTCA Replace the Trailer campaign has been successfully completed and the team has ordered a new trailer. In total, this campaign has $16,021 pledged and the GTCA board is currently finalizing all collections. This total will be officially gifted to the team at the 2009 boat house picnic on April 5, 2009. Thank you so much to all the donors for this campaign. In just four months, we reached our goal. Though the team is still working on insurance to replace all the damaged boats, they will have a trailer to transport their borrowed boats for the 2009 Spring season. Congratulations GT Crew Alumni. We have helped preserve the traditions and 2009 racing season for GT Crew.

If you missed out on giving to the trailer fundraiser, fear not. We are always accepting donations to the team and you can continue to donate online.

Also, many corporations match gifts given by their current or retired employees. Your company's human resources department can provide details on its policies and can provide a matching gift form to include with your mailed gift. Please specify to your employee that checks need to have "GT CREW" in the memo. To receive a corporate gift match, you may need to provide the Georgia Tech Foundation federal tax identification number to you employer, which is 58-6043294.
